Pashta MaryMoon is a local end-of-life doula, often called "death doulas" or "death midwives" near Esquimalt, British Columbia.
Death doulas offer services to help an individual achieve the death and death-care they desire. Their job is to spend time with and advocate for someone who is terminally ill. A death doula will spend time with the dying person and their family to try and make the dying person’s death more peaceful and advocate for them in administering their final wishes including liaising with hospitals and funeral homes if asked to do so.
