Listen my Son and I visited this Cemetery for the 1st time today Friday November 10th 2023 the conditions in the place were deplorable grass is covering the majority of the Cemetery some plots had be taken care and neatly Maintained by live one's of the deceased but that place was terrible. The grass is darn near taller than me and I'm 5 feet 8 inches. Something needs to be done now completely unacceptable

I have three loved ones buried at Pine Hill Cemetery in McCalla that have been there since the 70s and 80s. I come to town to visit their graves at least twice a year to place flowers and honor them. The condition of this cemetery is beyond deplorable and does a terrible injustice to the memories that we cherish. When I visited last week, it was clear at first glance that nothing has been done to maintain the grounds like cutting WEEDS (not grass) or clearing debris for months or even years. It's in the worst shape I've seen and that's saying a lot because it has been bad for years. Who is responsible for upkeep (or the lack of)? It is disgraceful to the souls whose bodies are buried there and disrespectful to the families. If I could have found a way to give less than 1 star I would have.

The place needs work, there are headstones sitting by trees. Trees and brush cover markers missing markers, my father's marker is missing and there's a road covering his grave. There are people four wheeling through the cemetery. There are no gates or fences
