    Dow's Corner Cemetery, Standish, ME
    Article 12 of Bylaws states No trees, shrubs or bushes allowed. Any unauthorized items will be removed.
    Went to visit my grandparents graves and almost could not find it. Some lilac "trees", with thick trunks, have grown right up to the headstone and completely covered it. Their names and dates are not visible without crawling into the tree. The back side of the headstone, with two other names and dates, is partially obscured by some type of Bush with thorns.

    Can these be removed with a chain saw or something? Otherwise, the cemetery was freshly mown and beautiful!
