Ann “Anna” Aldorisio

“Beloved Mother, Wife & Sister”

Anna Aldorisio, age 87, of Torrington passed away peacefully on Wednesday September 28, 2022 at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital. She was the beloved widow of Vincent A. Aldorosio.

Anna leaves behind to cherish her memory her son Vince D. Aldorisio and his wife Carissa Zeldin of Langhorne, Pennsylvania, she was predeceased by her four brothers; John Zablocki, Peter Zablocki, Paul Zablocki and Jack Zablocki and her four sisters Mary DePaulo, Elizabeth “Betty” Zablocki, Rose Zablocki and Alexandra “Sandy” Savoy.

Anna was born in Waterbury on October, 8, 1934, a daughter of the late John and Anna (Adams) Zablocki. Anna had worked for the City of Waterbury, Federal Grants Office for over 30 years. After working for the City, she continued to work part time as an office administrator during the early years of her retirement.

Anna had a habit of keeping busy. She loved to travel and would spend time outdoors whenever possible, swimming, soaking up sunshine or hiking in the woods. She spent her downtime working in the yard, crafting, reading and shopping, but was happiest when spending time with family. Anyone that had the opportunity to speak with her knew that her son was the center of her universe.

Anna’s enthusiasm for life and ability to find joy in the tiniest of moments was infectious. She could manifest a smile from anyone with her silly sense of humor and spontaneous outbursts of song and dance. We can take comfort in knowing that she has been reunited with her loving husband, family and friends after spending many happy years living her best life.

The stars will shine a little brighter with her spirit above. She will be greatly missed. Mom, we love you!

Arrangements: A mass of Christian Burial with the cremains present will be held at St. Anthony of Padua in Litchfield at a date and time to be announced. Chase Parkway Memorial, the Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury has been entrusted with handling Anna’s funeral arrangements.
