The Groffs Family Funeral And Cremation Services Inc

Our mom Geri Neff died Sept.25th 2017
I pre-arranged the funeral arrangements and the Groff family were very unigue and professional.
After my mom passed I spoke with the Funeral Director, Thomas Buter, which was outstanding and very professional. You could not ask for any one better!!!

From setting up a time to meet before the funeral till the very end it was What ever we wanted and what ever worked for us.

My sister is deaf so we needed an interpreter. Tom spoke very clear and slow so every one could understand everything.

The description on the Groffs family funeral home page could not be more perfect,

We were going over all the details of the arrangements, Tom helped us with every thing that we needed and things we needed to do and didn't think of.

We asked to have the service the next day so my brother could get back home. Even though they already had three services the next day, Tom made it happen.

When we got to the end of the arrangements, Tom said i got the casket in you wanted and it is gold like you asked.

My heart sank and said No it's" Green", because the most important thing to my family and I was to lay my mom to rest in a green casket which was her favorite color. I have no idea how the color gold ever came up or written down, and how i never saw it, but Tom said "I have something in mind" and ask to be excused, and came back with the most beautiful picture of a mint green casket you ever saw, and told me he could have it in the next morning.

I cried and so did the rest of my family.

I was going to have a closed casket because of how much weight my mom lost and how fragile she looked, The staff at the funeral home took a picture of her and every detail to what color of lip stick she liked and made her up so beautiful, that we had an open casket.

The night before the service we found out we didn't have an interpreter for my sister, and I called Tom that evening, because he gave me his phone number and told me to call him no matter what time it was. He went out of his way to reach out to his friends and church to help us find one.

Tom, the Groff family and staff made the hardest day of out lives easier. The memorial service they gave us for our mom was so perfect and so beautiful. I will always praise them for everything they did for us
