    LONG POST ALERT!
My father passed away November 15, 2021. I was his executor and my father had selected Phinazee and Sons to handle his burial arrangements. For a few weeks, I had been communicating with funeral home while my father was in the hospital, so when he died, it wasn't a shock. When funeral home was alerted of his death, I selected wake and memorial to be done 4 days later. This time period was short, but I was reassured that everything would be taken care of. I wanted a live stream, slideshow, and photos done of the wake and memorial. Pictures to be included in the slideshow were sent by email. Preview of slideshow was sent to me, but I didn't count all the pictures. The night of the wake, to my dismay, there were 12 pictures missing from slideshow that were emailed. Once I relayed that info, I was told slideshow would be fixed and re-sent. Never got the updated copy. The day of memorial, C&C Photography Media Productions took photos. After requesting the photos on the 3rd of this month, I was sent a whopping 32 photos of the memorial that lasted almost 2 hrs. The pictures were horrible. Cropping should have been done. (4 were of the Rev and Deacon). Why would I need so many pics of them and not my father and family? Can you say REFUND. Also during the memorial, 3 songs were to be played as selections. Only 2 were played. There was a mime performance where the song "Better" by Jessica Reedy was listed on the arrangements to play. When it was time for my brother to perform, it was complete silence. I guess everybody thought it was part of the show. I'm sitting there looking at the staff and out loud staff asks "What song is it?" My brother had to pull up the song on his phone to dance to. That was so humiliating. Not knowing what song needed to be played. Moving on to next topic. Miscommunication occurred multiple times. I requested viewing to be done at the end of memorial and staff did it at the beginning, so my brother missed that because he had to change into mime costume. Last topic. There was a flower spread on top of casket that I wanted to keep. That part was misunderstood because a week after I took flowers home, I received a call to return those certain ones and a new arrangement would be made. What would have been the purpose of the new spread? Was it on my fathers casket? NO. No sentiment of the new one. On a positive note, my fathers haircut and makeup were FLAWLESS! My overall review of this business was poor and I was truly disappointed in the services.

Full-service funeral homes offer everything from burial services to cremation services. They often sell caskets, urns, and other memorial products. Their cremation prices are generally higher than direct cremation providers.

Direct cremation providers often operate out of simpler offices and work directly with the crematory to provide lower-cost cremation services for families in the community. Since they have lower overhead costs, cremation costs and immediate or simple burials many be less expensive than full-service funeral homes.
