This is for the Lafayette location on Centaur Village Drive. If I could give negative stars I would. The man who was assisting us knew absolutely nothing about my brother or what his wishes were. My brothers wife and two of his three children belong to a cult. Their involvement in this cult was a major problem throughout their marriage. He did not believe in the teachings of this cult and made that adamantly clear while he was alive and let everyone know that he would never want his funeral to be held within this cult. He was a Christian, and wanted a Christian funeral. Someone needed to be there to advocate for him and the man at this funeral home presumed to think he knew more about my brother than I or one of his sons did. The way he treated the two of us was appalling. The only thing I can assume is that he is either a member of this cult or just really horrible at his job. There was nothing I or my brother's son was saying to my brother's wife that was disrespectful in any way but this funeral parlor employee would not let us speak and advocate for my brother. He was the one being disrespectful. My poor brother was treated horribly by his wife and two of his children had shunned him wanting nothing to do with him for the last year, and I guess they get to humiliate him one last time by doing exactly what he didn't want. This man at the funeral home said he has done this hundreds of times so you would think that he would be a little better at it. My brother was a loving and kind person and he does not deserve this. It literally makes me sick to my stomach to think this arrogant hostile man will be handling my brothers body and the last person to see him. Let's hope he treats him with better respect than he did us.

Their cremation prices are generally higher than direct cremation providers.
Direct cremation providers often operate out of simpler offices and work directly with the crematory to provide lower-cost cremation services for families in the community. Since they have lower overhead costs, cremation costs and immediate or simple burials many be less expensive than full-service funeral homes.
